Our experience with Castalia was awesome. I’ve done a lot of research and looked at the pictures posted on FB. Read a lot of good reviews about Castalia, hence we decided to make a trip down to understand more. The staff at Castalia were very friendly. We really love the photo concept and ideas they presented - turning the wedding album into a story rather than just picture of two people wearing gowns and tux. Catherine was very friendly and patient answering our queries. Castalia was our first and only bridal shop we visited.

Thanks to photographer, Jay! He was very open to our ideas and did not disappoint us. I’ve showed hundreds of pictures I downloaded from Pinterest and the overall feel we wanted our album to be. He delivered it.

Thanks Minna, our make-up artist turning me into a beautiful bride. The make up was natural and not overpowering. She followed us through the entire photo shoot sessions and giving me a lot of attention on my accessories, touching up make up and hair. I love all the different hairstyles she did for me.

Thanks to Alex, photographer assistant who helped flipping my gowns, holding the lights and spraying the water to create effects.

Thanks to Joey on the awesome photo editing services. Choosing photos were painful as there really TOO MANY NICE PICS to select. Thanks to Joey, we were happy with our selections.

Overall experience with Castalia were relaxed and chill. We were nervous at first, my Husband was worried because he’s more of a shy person and not very used to smiling at a camera. It turned out our wedding album was fabulous and received a lot of praises from our friends and relatives. Castalia Wedding is the one and only bridal shop we went. Heard of their reviews and bridal photos effect from website. We have no regrets till date. We immediately signed with them after talking about the packaged and stuff. Everyone inside was fun loving, approachable and informative. The laughter I got for the past few months brush all my stressed preparation for wedding away. :D

Catherine was the one whom I would like to give praise too. She is a very patient and attentive person to our needs, she do not mind going the extra miles to make sure that I like what I choose and give us her own inputs during the whole time.

Minna, the MUA, she is very young, but do not underestimate her. She gave me a natural look and not too much make up on as she knows that I barely put any stuff on my face. She follow us through the entire photo shoot, which i feel there is a not a need and not every MUA will do that. She constantly stays by my side for touch up and arranging of my hair throughout the whole shoot under the hot sun too. 辛苦你了。

Jay, the photographer, Thank You for braving the water and climbing the stones to get a great shots of us. Really love the all the pictures, till we need to add on :P

Alex, although he is the assistant, but I find that he is the most tiring person among us. Everything also he carry, even the dress need to throw 10 times, he also need to do it. Thank you for your help.

Lastly to Joey, the very good sales lady and photo editor. Never did I know that she can edit photos. Thanks to her we have very nice photos to select and also her creative juices provide us a different view to our wedding photos.

All in all, thanks Castalia for this wonderful journey. Although there are small hiccups, but I never regret choosing Castalia for our pre-wed shoots.

Me and husband went to Castalia Wedding after doing some research online. They were the first store that we visited.

All the staffs are friendly and not pretentious which make us very comfortable during the whole journey with them. Joey and all her consultants made the whole process from discussing the package to choosing gowns to discussing which photos to keep and discard and easy and relax environment. They are able to accommodate to my request for gowns choices and I have to no regrets with what they have!

Jay and his team made photo shoot easy and relax. He met with us prior to photo shoot to get to know us and create a rapport. I think this helps during the photo shoot as we do not feel awkward on the day of photo shoot. Choosing the photos for the album was a challenge as there were too many nice photos. And we didn’t want to lose all of them. We manage to discuss with Joey and she made it possible for us to have most of the photos while still making it affordable.

After going to many bridal studios, we decided on Castalia Wedding because of the effects of the photograph.. the friendly lovely staffs here.. no hard selling over here..after signing and going through my photo shoot and everything, we are very satisfied with the end product..

It's was a wonderful experience with the staffs especially the photographer Jay.. Jay, was a very professional photographer and able to take whatever effects we want for our pre wedding shot. Also John the photographer assistant is very patience and meticulous about everything.

Kelly and Xin Yi is super patience with me when it comes to choosing the gown as I have my own expectations of what's should be done.. despite I am such a fussy customer.. I were never once disappointed with their service and their patience

We took up a wedding package that includes indoor photo shoot, outdoor photo shoot, bridal car decor, rental of wedding suits and gowns. We are very satisfied with the service that we received from their staff. They are very professional in their work and patient in entertaining our various requests.

Search you all the way from Singapore. To couples, you guys have my assurance their service and attitude is very professional. They are also mindful. I love their service because they are friendly and also take very good care of their customer during photo shoots.

The photographers team are absolutely friendly and they are not demanding like some other photographer. They will guide you what to do during shooting and they are also very humorous creating joke and will make us laugh. I still remember upon my request, the photographer still have to use the ladder to do the shoot which is very dangerous. Do not worry that photographer is demanding or fierce, they are easy going and friendly!

I want to thank Joey for her assist! Joey 对顾客很细心,也很有爱心, she don't treat her customer as customer only, she treat her customer as her friend.

Castalia wedding was chanced upon when we were looking for a JB bridal studio to compare with Singapore bridal studio with our friends.

We were quickly attracted to Castalia due to their amazing photos and photography ideas , shown to us during our walk in . ( you can design your own story of how you met etc)

Service Before and During our whole pre-wedding gown selection , pre wedding shot , photo/album design , actual day gown selection was amazing , the girls on the floor were cheerful and happy to bring different types of dress for me to try on, and Joey was extremely engaging during our multiple visits.

Our Photographer Jerry and MUA Mina were amazing during our shoot indoor and outdoor. Photos turned out so good that I wanted to scold out photographer because it made the photo selection extremely hard !

Gown selection in store for photo shoot they have plenty of beautiful dresses , for actual day , I would say they have plenty as well but not as much bling out gowns compared to the photo shoot ones , but we still manage to find 4 beautifully detailed gowns for our actual day.

I will definitely recommend Castalia to my group of friends .

Please do not hesitate to sign with Castalia , and you do not have to worry about after signing service , don't have to worry regarding photos quality .

Second shop into our bridal studio hunting in JB and we decided to sign without any hesitation. No regrets! 

Overall, Castalia is a very friendly and comfortable bridal studio where the staffs are willing to listen to you. No hard sell tactics at all! They even remember and can call you by your name upon the first visit!

Our photographer, Jay was extremely experienced and good, to the extent that we almost wanted to strangle him. Had such a hard time choosing our photos even though they are unedited! WE TOTALLY LOVE THEM. It was also very thoughtful that they printed out all the photos in hardcopy format so we could see the exact effect well. Trust me, topping up at the end of the day is inevitable, but so worth it! Yen was another senior photographer there, who we spoke to on our first visit and walk us through their concepts and such. He is also very good!

Some of the coordinators that liased with me normally are Joey, XinYi and Kelly. Did not get the names of the other girls. They are very very helpful, willing to assist in any sort of requirements that we have, and provided all the help that we needed. Appointments were also well recorded, and there will definitely be a reminder call (not text/sms), the day before the appt, even though I'm based in SG.

MUA is also very well experienced! Totally love my makeup and hair for my pre-wedding photo shoot! Lots of accessories, lots of options for every gown you choose! She followed along with us to Singapore for our outdoor shoot and even looked after our dog for us while we were busy shooting. Really really appreciate it.

Cannot thank and recommend Castalia enough. They are the reason why we had such a wonderful experience in and out of JB. One of the best bridal studio out there that actually think and provide exceptional service for couples. They are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. But to us, they are the best. Would definitely recommend BTBs to drop by, you will never regret!
